I also dropped vision distance a couple of notches which seemed to help with no real impact on the quality. I dropped it to about half way and didnt notice any impact on the visual quality. Game is more interesting and challenging.I'm enjoying myself.I like the fact that money actually means something in this game compared to the original and that artifacts are hard to find which make them seem more special.I'll check my frame rate on my next play.AA has a big effect on my frame rates.I tried setting AA to 4x but it had a noticable slowdown.had to 'settle' for 2X One of the first things I did with my cash was buy some new armor which is a must.I think I'm wearing the CS-1 body armor now which is a pretty decent suit.I also upgraded my artifact detector but even with the basic one it's pretty easy to locate them.but actually getting to the artifact requires getting beat up by the anamolies quite a bit I'm also wandering the swamps exploring.I've already cleared a path to Cordon but I want to explore the area for more artifacts.I also found 3 artifacts so far in the Swamps-Jellyfish, Flash and Crystal.but only the Jellyfish one is a keeper as it decreases radiation.any artifact that increases radiation I sell.weird that the jellyfish is a keeper in Clear Sky while in the original game it was a dud Zapionics wrote:finding a few artifacts using the old detector - getting used to it although tend to go around in circles with it still.
